Entry requirements for students:

1. Must be not married, under 30 years of age.  Very strict exceptions are allowed for married couples, as long as they have no children.  The principle behind this selection criterion is that the Society cannot responsibly send married couples with children into the dangerous and often primitive conditions of their place of call.  Secondly, families and people over 30 years old usually have careers and ties to the places they come from and it is harder to give up everything for almost 2 years.  We need the students to be focused and see this as their 1st priority in reaching the most remote communities on the planet.
2. Must be fluent in English.  The courses will be taught by English-speaking teachers and there will not be an English-teaching class during the course.
3. Must be willing to serve for at least a year in the volunteer fields provided.
4. A deposit of 300 Euros ($400 US) must be paid at the beginning of classes.  This is the only fee to be paid during the entire course.
5. If a student decides during the course of studies that he/she cannot complete, he/she is free to leave the Center.  However there will be no reimbursement of the deposit.
